Arktek LLC has worked for and with many home builders in Central Virginia and is familiar with common regional construction practices and local building codes for residential construction.  Arktek can provide design and construction drawings to whatever level of detail is desired by the home builder in order to obtain a building permit while maintaining the builder's signature style.  Arktek works closely with your team's project coordinator to deliver the end result that your company and the purchaser are looking for in a professional and timely manner.

Services include:

• Architectural Design for new homes, additions or renovations

• CAD drafting of house plans drawn from scratch or using existing CAD plans from builder

• CAD Construction drawings including sections and details as required for building permit application

• CAD file management of builder standard plans for the purposes of generating future plans for spec homes or sales to customers

• Structural design and review / coordination with framing suppliers and structural engineers 

• Building code verification and coordination with drawings, including
  correspondence with building code officials if required 

• Coordination with vendors such as window and cabinet suppliers

• Coordination of mechanical systems and electrical / lighting layouts with plans as required by builder

• Field measurements of existing homes for additions or renovations

• Site plan design and coordination with site engineers and surveyors as required
